*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 6 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. This high-temperature, poly-faced Flexi-Sleeve is made specifically to insulate Flexi-Liner venting systems. Fan-assisted appliances require this Flexi-Sleeve for efficiency. Certain structural situations make using this Flexi-Sleeve necessary, such as a flue cavity that is significantly larger than the liner or a chimney that is mostly exposed on the house's exterior. Also, you will need to use the Flexi-Sleeve if the flue gas temperature at the thimble is less than 280 degrees Fahrenheit. This 10-foot Flexi-Sleeve comes in 3, 5, and 5.5 inches in diameter. Use this Flexi-Sleeve for special situations in Flexi-Liner installation. |
