*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 8 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. This adaptor is designed for use in new installations and will slip inside a single-wall stovepipe to prevent creosote from dripping into the interior of the stove pipe. It is made of 430-alloy stainless steel. The dimensions of the part are 8" diameter x 15.75" high. The coupler is included and forms the connection by twist-locking to the first section of the MetalBest chimney and then accepting the adaptor. This part is Type HT that is listed as an all-fuel chimney according to UL103HT safety standards. will this adaptor work with jackes & evans pipe from the 1980's?

This adapter will only work with MetalBest Ultra-Temp 8" diameter chimney, but if you already have this chimney in place, this part will adapt the MetalBest Ultra-Temp 8" diameter chimney system to common 8" black single wall stovepipe.
