Does this remote come with the box that attaches to the fireplace or is it just the remote itself?

Great Temperature Control
After a lot of research on these products, I chose this one for one major reason. I really like its ability to control the temperature within one degree. Many of these remotes only control the temperature within two degrees either direction, and that seems like too much variability for a comfortable temperature, especially if you are sitting near it. I found the installation process to be quite simple. I just had to detach the bayonet connectors from the unit's native power switch and connect those from the receiver box. I was then able to attach the native power switch to the receiver box to allow for operation in the absence of the remote. This seems to be a very well built product. I bought it in the late summer, then around Halloween we had a major snowstorm that knocked out our power. The wireless thermostat controlled the heat in such a way that the house stayed warm without emptying my tank from constant use. I am really happy with its performance.
