My dog chewed the remote for the propane stove and I need to replace it. Do I have to buy the entire kit or can I just buy a remote and it will work fine?

You will need to replace both the transmitter and the receiver box.

Why arent my model 3301 transmitter and receiver communicating after replacing all batteries correctly?

The receiver may need to be re-synced to the remote transmitter. Please reference the owners manual for your specific appliance on the steps for this procedure.
How do I open the little black box for battery replacement?
1 Answer
Depending on the model of receiver, there should be an access cover on the "bottom" side of the receiver that will slide open to reveal the battery area.
What is the difference between a SkyTech SKY-Con and a SkyTech 1001D?
1 Answer
The SKY-CON control will work with latching solenoid gas valves that would provide control of the flame height with gas log sets that are already configured for variable flame control with a remote. For a common millivolt gas valve, which is included with many gas log sets and gas fireplaces that provide basic On/Off control with an optional remote, wall switch, or thermostat, the SkyTech 1001D wall-mounted control would turn the burner flame off and on. The SkyTech1001 would also work with many non-standing pilot IPI with electronic ignition fireplaces where basic On/Off control of the spark igniter and burner flame with an optional remote, wall switch, or thermostat is a possibility.
