My chimney top has been rebuilt and I now have a 6x6 clay flue liner for the last few feet of the chimney. Would I be able to use this?
This kit is only suitable for use to vent a direct vent gas fireplace insert within a functional masonry chimney.

What are the measurements of this unit, I have a Flue that measures 12 3/4 x 17 1/2. I can make a adapter plate for this to fit if it will not cover the opening.
The top plate is 18 x 18.
