How many stones are included in this set?

This stone kit (like the decorative glass) is sold by volume and not by total quantity. This particular kit provides enough rocks to cover 1 square foot.

Can these rocks be used in a 43" ventless see through gas fireplace?

This rock assortment is only tested and listed for use within Empire's vent-free gas fireplaces, and they offer a 48" see-thru model, though not a 43".
