This wall furnace may be the heating solution you are looking for. It installs easily on outside walls and can even be recessed between the wall studs. It uses natural and generates up to 35,000 BTU with a 76% AFUE. The unit uses a reliable standing pilot and includes a counterflow blower to help circulate the heat. An automatic safety shut-off works to keep you and your family. Cleaning and servicing is easily accomplished because the front panels are removable. The combustion chamber has a 10-yeaer warranty and there is a 1-year limited warranty for parts. The dimensions of the furnace are 72 1/2" H x 14 1/8" W x 10 3/8" D. The minimum clearances are 4" on the top, 4" on the side or 18" with CUI-SOR1 side register, 0" from bottom of unit to floor.

Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 4" inner diameter.

It claims to be able to be recessed between studs. Doesn't that conflict with the 4" min. side clearance required if studs are 16" centers?

If the heater will be recessed into a wall no greater than 10", the clearance required is zero to the top and sides. This heater is 14 1/8" and designed to fit between studs that are 16" on center.
