    Is this a milivolt unit? Also, is the liner required for this unit?

    Does the thermal disk on my blower have to be connected in order to make the blower work? I plugged into power source before installing and it would not come on.

    Yes it does. The blower turns on by temperature heating that disc and allowing the blower to turn on. The thermo-disc needs to be connected properly in order for the blower to function as intened.
