Empire's unique Slope Glaze burner is specially designed to evenly and efficiently disperse natural gas or propane, creating a robust flame pattern that flickers throughout the hand-painted log set. The large heat-resistant tempered glass window allows a nearly uninterrupted view of the fire, and the black slat louvers add a classic touch to the Tahoe Premium's design. The possibilities are endless with Empire.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 4" inner diameter.

Yes, but the remote you choose will need to be purchased separately. You can choose from a basic on/off remote, an on/off thermostat remote or a programmable thermostat remote.

Is the surface hot to the touch? Glass or metal parts?
Yes the glass pane in front of the fire will be very hot to the touch. The metal area on the face of the fireplace will be warm to touch, but should not be hot enough to cause burns.

No decorative liner is included with this fireplace. There are a few options, which you can see in the configuration section on this page, including the herringbone brick (pictured), aged stacked brick, stacked limestone and black reflective options.
