    Is the blower with this fireplace manually operated or automatic? Ball bearings or sleeve bearings? Is it easy to replace if it goes bad?
    1 Answer
    The blower is indeed automatic; it has a temperature switch that automatically activates the motor when the fireplace has been burning for a while (usually 8-12 minutes).  There is a variable switch/rheostat that controls the speed of the fan.  The manufacturer does not confirm what type of bearings are used, but it is a fairly simple replacement, yes.
