The Slope Glaze Burner provides many unique options for you to customize your fireplace to fit your needs and give the atmosphere you long for to your room. The unvented fireplace gives you the freedom of placing the burner where you would most like it. Are you a do-it-yourself person? The manual control option for the burner is perfect for you. If you would prefer to not have to get up to turn on the fire, the remote control with the on/off button is a better option for you. The versatility of this burner with the authentic ponderosa logs adds class to your home.

Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 26.5 Inches and the Depth must be at least 14 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.

Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Leah from NY asked:
What does refractory mean? What is the material that these logs are made of? Also, does this unit give off any odor?
What does refractory mean? What is the material that these logs are made of? Also, does this unit give off any odor?
Refractory is referring to the material the log set is manufactured from. Rather than the lightweight ceramic fiber material that many logs are cast from, this set uses heavy refractory cement. In my opinion, this is the preferable material for a vent free log set. Because of the high density of the cement, the logs are more durable than ceramic. They are also not porous, which keeps them from absorbing odors from the room air when burning. It is this non-porous construction that allows the logs burn with very little residual odor.

Picture says it all !

Easy to install and works great.

Pros

It is very life like wood and flames and it puts off nice heat, too.

Cons

There's not much negative to speak about, but maybe the flames could go higher .
