The Slope Glaze Burner provides many unique options for you to customize your fireplace to fit your needs and give the atmosphere you long for to your room. The unvented fireplace gives you the freedom of placing the burner where you would most like it. Are you a do-it-yourself person? The manual control option for the burner is perfect for you. If you would prefer to not have to get up to turn on the fire, the remote control with the on/off button is a better option for you. The versatility of this burner with the authentic ponderosa logs adds class to your home.
Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 26.5 Inches and the Depth must be at least 14 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.
Also Note: This item is a vent free appliance and installation of it may be prohibited in your jurisdiction. Customers are responsible for checking local codes and regulations prior to purchase.

The VFSE burners have an optional AC/DC adaptor available to attach to a power supply.

If the gas pressure matches the requirements shown in the manual, and the flame is on its highest setting on the remote, various factors can influence the final flame height. These include altitude, oxygen level, etc.

Can this log set be used with any brand fireplace that has the proper dimensions noted, or must it be used in an Empire fireplace?
This appliance can be installed into any fireplace that has been tested and listed to have a ventless gas appliance installed into it, or a masonry fireplace with the correct dimensions.
