The Slope Glaze Burner provides many unique options for you to customize your fireplace to fit your needs and give the atmosphere you long for to your room. The unvented fireplace gives you the freedom of placing the burner where you would most like it. Are you a do-it-yourself person? The manual control option for the burner is perfect for you. If you would prefer to not have to get up to turn on the fire, the remote control with the on/off button is a better option for you. The versatility of this burner with the authentic ponderosa logs adds class to your home.
Please Note: The fireplace's Middle Width must be at least 30 Inches and the Depth must be at least 14 Inches for this gas log set to fit. You can calculate the middle width of your firebox by measuring the width (left to right) approximately half way back in the firebox. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you in finding the perfect size gas log set.

Difference between ceramic logs are they solid or coated lightweight material?
Ceramic fiber logs are lightweight, usually hollowed out. The refractory logs, such as those in this Ponderosa set, are heavyweight logs and usually more realistic looking.

Is IPI always a constant flame height or is it adjustable? It appears the variable flame with on /off would allow for different flame heights.
IPI refers to "intermittent pilot ignition" so it only lights the pilot when there is a call for heat (no standing pilot light). The variable flame control will vary the flame height and heat output of the appliance.

Can you adjust the temperature with the remote control?
Unfortunately, no. This log set includes a remote control that only offers on/off or hi/lo variable flame functionality.
