Is there a video as to where and how the control module sits in the firebox? Is it in any way attached to the log set? I have the remote control electronic ignition. Also, does the shield just sit over the control module without fasteners?

The control module should be placed as shown on page 15 of the installation manual on the pilot side of the burner on the fireplace floor with the heat shield in place, but not underneath the burner.
