Room heaters provide a convenient hassle-free way to heat any area of your home. This unit features a glass enclosure so you can view the soothing gas flames that are heating your home. You can even purchase a log set to enhance the visual appearance. It's stored inside a beige cabinet which can be placed anywhere in the room. The cabinet needs at least 55" clearance on top, 6" clearance on the sides, 18" clearance in the front for easy access, and 2" clearance from the draft diverter to the wall. This model uses natural gas, and includes an automatic blower that spreads heat throughout the room. Empire includes a 10-year limited warrangy for the combustion chamber and a 1-year warranty on parts.

Is the burner enclosed using outside air?
This unit is B-vent and has a glass enclosure, but it does have an air channel to pull combustion air from inside the home. This appliance will still use the room air to feed combustion and exhaust to the outside. B-vent appliances must vent past the roofline, like a traditional chimney. Direct vent units will be enclosed and pull their combustion air from outside and exhaust to the outside. Direct vent units will also terminate at the wall and not need to extend past the roofline.

We apologize for the confusion - the product feature listing "Requires no electricity" is referring to the burner in this furnace - it runs off a standing pilot ignition and does not use electricity. However, the blower does indeed require a 120V connection.

Love this heater!!!
I recently bought a new house and needed to replace the old freestanding vented heater. This heater is awesome and heats my whole house which is small. I am very pleased. The only thing that needed to be changed was the size of the pipe which was a 4 inch on the old one

Excellent Product
Glad we bought this one from this dealer, the price is reasonable compared to others out there. We bought another stove yrs ago at twice the price, it was only guaranteed for 10 yrs. When it went out, then couldn't buy parts for it. This is the one for you!

Was everything it show online, has been working excellent, would recommend to others to buy this one.
Cons
The only thing is when you lite this stove, hold down button while someone else lites it in front, it would be so much easier if the two was closer together.
