Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Jacob from Jefferson City mo asked:
Does it pop and crack when it kicks on and off?
Does it pop and crack when it kicks on and off?
Any wall furnace or fireplace has the potential to pop and ping as it heats up and cools down. This is due to the expansion and contraction of the metals in the burn chamber. If you are having violent "booms" during start-ups, this could be caused by delayed ignition of the gas. This is fairly common with propane, more so than natural gas.

Why is there no remote thermostat option on this model?
This model has a built-in hydraulic thermostat; there is no remote thermostat option available because the controls are integrated on to the heater itself.
