This self contained heater can warm a large area with 50,000 BTU of radiant heat. It has a matchless Piezo ignition system and requires no electricity. It comes in a durable beige cabinet that will complement any decor. The hydraulic thermostat allows precise temperature control and the automatic shut-off is included for safety. The draft diverter can be installed vertically or horizontally. The combustion chamber has a 10-year limited warranty and there is a 1-year limited warranty for parts. The dimensions of the unit are 29 9/16" H x 34" W x 23 3/16" D with diverter or 16" D without diverter. The minimum clearances are top 55", sides 6", opposite side 18" for accessibility, bottom of unit to wood floor 0", and draft diverter to wall 2".

Please Note: This Model Cannot Be Used With An Optional Remote Control Or Wall Switch/Wall Mount Thermostat. A Rotary Knob Is Located On The Unit To Control The Temperature Setting.

When venting this appliance into an existing chimney, it is highly recommended to install a 5" flexible liner for reliable function and draft.

Can you add a blower to this model, and if so, will the heater still work without the fan in a power outage?
You can add a blower to this model. If the power goes out, the fan will not operate, but the heater will still work as intended. You can see the optional blower here.
