Product Details
This room heater is closed front and is fired by propane. This powerful heater heat large areas and put out 65000 BTUs of clean efficient heat. This heater does not need electricity to operate. The piezo ignition system needs not matches. Safety features include automatic shut off and a hydraulic thermostat. The unit available in propane gas and natural gas. This appliance is made by Empire Comfort systems. The combustion chamber has a ten year limited warranty.

Please Note: This Model Cannot Be Used With An Optional Remote Control Or Wall Switch/Wall Mount Thermostat. A Rotary Knob Is Located On The Unit To Control The Temperature Setting.

Can this heater be vented through a wall?
No, this unit cannot be vented directly through an exterior wall like a direct vent appliance. The Empire RH65C (RH-65CLP) is a natural vent (Type B) appliance. According to the manufacturer's installation manual, the flue pipe must run vertically and terminate above the roof line. While the flue can have a short horizontal run on its way up (e.g., through framing or a closet), it must maintain an upward slope of at least 1/4 inch per foot and cannot terminate through a wall to the outdoors. For complete venting clearances and diagrams, please refer to the Installation Manual.

The Empire RH65C Closed Front Gas Room Heater - Propane - RH-65CLP features a convenient hydraulic thermostat controlled by a rotary knob. This model does not support an optional remote control or a separate wall switch/wall mount thermostat.
