Will this thermostat work with my Empire MODEL CIDV-30-20 gas fireplace?
The Empire T24V is a 24-volt thermostat designed for select Empire high-efficiency direct vent wall furnace models. The CIDV-30-20 is not listed in the specifications for this thermostat, so we cannot confirm compatibility.
Empire furnaces use either a millivolt standing pilot valve system or a 24-volt system, which require different, non-interchangeable thermostats. To determine the correct thermostat for your unit, please provide the full model and serial number as listed on the rating plate. Additionally, let us know if your pilot flame remains lit at all times, and we will confirm the correct Empire thermostat and assist you in sourcing it.

This thermostat is compatible with the Empire FAW40SPPX Vented Counterflow Wall Furnaces.

You will need an 18/2 thermostat wire to complete the installation. This wire is commonly available at your local hardware store.
