What is an intermittent PIlot? Is it powered by remote control?
1 Answer
"Intermittent pilot" refers to the fact that this is an electronic ignition unit with no standing pilot required. By default, the pilot lights electronically each time the fireplace is turned on, and this can be done by remote control but that would be an optional accessory and it is not required. The fireplace can also be operated by a toggle switch on the fireplace or a wired wall switch (purchased separately).

No, the mantel cabinet is not included, though it can be purchased separately. The dimensions shown on this page are for the fireplace itself.
