The Empire VFD36FB2MF Breckenridge Deluxe Vent-Free Firebox is a quick and easy to install firebox that is zero clearance certified and can be quickly installed using the quick gas hookup. At less than 20 inches deep, this firebox is a great option for tight spaces and can even be used in mobile homes. With the refractory lining, black louvers, and firebrick wall, this firebox looks great and still offers plenty of function. The 5 year manufacturer's warranty ensures that it is built to last for years. Empire Direct has also designed this 36-inch unit for maximum heat distribution, so your room will be heated evenly without hot spots near the firebox.

Please Note: Extended hoods are required for installations where the fireplace surround materials are thicker than one inch. For installation in any White Mountain Hearth standard mantel, use the standard hood and order an outer frame.

Does this use natural or propane gas?
The Breckenridge is only a firebox. The fuel type would be chosen when you purchase a log set and burner for the inside of the firebox.

The Breckenridge is a firebox only. The remote option would have to be paired with the log set that is installed inside of the firebox.

This is simply a firebox and would not include any optional blower or a ventless gas log set.
