Can I control off/on with the wall switch?

A wall switch can indeed be connected to the burner with low voltage wire (do not connect to 120V).

This Baby Keeps You Toasty!
Very pleased with my fireplace kit. It was easy to install (Or so I'm told!) and puts out lots of heat! I especially like the glowing "embers!" Highly recommend-especially for small fireplace! Went from wood to gas and now with the remote, you have fire in an instant!
