Does this fireplace have a remote control. If not, how do you turn it on and off?
    1 Answer
This is strictly a firebox capable of accepting most any manufacturer's vent free log set in a 24" size. The log set you choose to install into the firebox can indeed be remote compatible for ease of operation.

Can this be installed on an exterior wall to create an indoor / outdoor fireplace?
    1 Answer
Unfortunately, no. We do not offer any vent-free gas fireplaces that can be installed in an indoor/outdoor set up. We do offer outdoor models, and one outdoor see-thru model, but it is not meant for inside/outside installation. Since vent-free units have to be open to allow combustion air in the firebox, there would be no way to seal the unit and thus, the exterior of your home.

Is this firebox mobile home safe?
    1 Answer
The manufacturer of this box does not explicitly state that it can or cannot be used in a mobile home, but leaves the final decision to local authorities. Check with local code enforcement to verify any restrictions on using a vent free firebox in a mobile home in your area.
