This vent free Vail Peninsula style fireplace by Empire is fueled by efficient propane and measures 36 in. The Peninsula style of this fireplace allows a view of the fire from three sides, and includes a matte black hood, matching slat louvers and a banded brick ceramic fiber liner to complete the set. This fireplace also comes with a 24 in., Slope Glaze Vista Burner that generates 38,000 BTUs of heat with 99.9 percent efficiency, as well as the reliable piezo ignitor and oxygen depletion safety sensor.

Does this 3 sided peninsula come with glass or only fixed screens?
This vent-free peninsula unit has fixed screens on all three sides. There is no option for glass doors.

The louver options are just decorative replacements for the black louvers shown at the top and bottom of the fireplace. The only required purchase with the unit is the log set, as it is sold separately.
