Does this 3 sided peninsula come with glass or only fixed screens?

This vent-free peninsula unit has fixed screens on all three sides. There is no option for glass doors.

The louver options are just decorative replacements for the black louvers shown at the top and bottom of the fireplace. The only required purchase with the unit is the log set, as it is sold separately.

We do offer an optional mantel base and top for this vent-free gas peninsula fireplace, but you certainly can build your own base/mantel for it. There are no other ready-made options, however.

This model comes with the burner but no log set. The compatible log set for this unit is the Empire LSU-24-RR Rock Creek Refractory Log Set - 24".

Excellent Value
Good price for a quality unit. Easy install and set up. I see no advantage to the higher priced units that are comparable.

Vail Premium Vent-Free Propane See-Thru Fireplace
Well made unit. Installation is straight forward. Could use some better instructions for the burner unit regarding remote control options. Looks great when finished with optional trim kits.
Easy install, looks great, see through design.
Installation of extruded outer frame is difficult and wimpy using supplied hardware. I drilled and countersunk some holes in the frame and used sheet metal screws to attach firmly.
