Dimplex is leading the charge in new firebox technology. The Dimplex 20 inch Revillusion Electric log set has firelight the automatically adjusts the light to suit the room, night or day. The Revillusion (sounds like revolution) is a full grate of hardwood cast logs. The flame technology creates full like-like flames that you can see clearly. With Dimplex you can change the base color of the flame from red to blue as well as adjust the brightness to suit the room.

This will have a three-prong plug, as it has to be grounded.

Happy with product
We Purchased this fireplace in set in October and have been using it a little everyday. We like it a lot because: we can feel a difference in our living room that is about 12 ft x 12ft with open floor plan; we can tell a real difference in the room temp after we've been in our basement living room. We also enjoy the different things it can do- have full flame feature with logs looking hot, or just the logs looking hot, or no logs or fire on with heat. You can have the fire going without the heat. We decided that as we age and our knees don't like hauling logs from the backyard and then clean up, this would be a nice way to have a fire every single time we want one with the touch of a button. If we would lose power in the winter we can set the unit out and still use our fireplace! My only complaint is the remote that comes with it. I have to get close to the unit most times to get it to turn on. The unit also has buttons on a front leg you can manually push to turn unit on. I am very happy with this unit, with the choice to go with the hardwood logs and 20" fits good in our fireplace!! Happy, happy!!
