Great product., better than I expected

quiet and reliable

I am used to a wood burning fireplace and gas will not work in my current house so I was displeased with nearly all electric options. I am amazed by the warmth it generates and the realistic look. It is easy to operate.

While not a perfect natural fireplace "look", it does add a nice glow and ambiance to the living room. The bright LEDs project a light show onto the ceiling.

The remote is sometimes difficult. I have to point it at a precise location on the appliance. Difficult to operate from across the room. Often takes several attempts to get response.

Still, we are happy with the purchase. Did not want the hassle and mess of burning wood, or the carbon footprint for a gas installation. When our solar rooftop is installed, we'll feel better about turning on the heater.

I have enjoyed this fireplace for almost 2 years. It has added such a cozy lovely design element (very realistic flame) to my condo space. A mantle was custom built to the size of the insert and desired location for the fireplace.

In previous homes, I have always enjoyed beautiful wood-burning fireplaces, but this electric fireplace offers just as much pleasure and is perfect for my condo.

My guests remark about the realistic look of the flames and logs.

The unit was super easy to assemble and install. Everyone who visits assumes it's a real fire. It's wonderfully cosy and warm and keeps the entire floor of the house warm. The best purchase of the year.

Replaced our original Dimplex purchase of Feb. 2010 when its heater blower stopped working (the DF12310 blower & heater could only be replaced as a combined unit). Made more sense to just replace as blower/heater unit was out of stock and estimated to not be available until sometime in 2022.

So, upgraded to this DIM-RLG25 last month. Like that is has higher heater watts, a much better remote w/many more functions. Also, the ember mat ads a more realistic view.

We previously had a Dimplex but wanted a bigger one. This one did not disappoint. The heater is quiet but powerful. The fireplace looks beautiful! We have put Alexa hidden nearby and tell her to play fireplace sounds and guests think it is real…We also added some charred wood around the bottom. I am very pleased with the product!

We were looking at an alternative to installing a gas/propane insert or using wood for our fireplace in the living room.

The dimplex 25” stove comes in 3 sections and takes less than 5 minutes to assemble and install. It is important to follow the directions and pick the main unit up by the heating unit and not try to lift it by the logs.

If you have a chimney, you will want to close it off so that your heat doesn’t go up the chimney. We closed off our chimney flue with reflective solid insulation and the heater works well to take a chill off the room and make it very comfortable with very little heat being lost.

Our fireplace was ventless that we never used because it would smell like gas in the room. We decided to get the electric Dimplex 25 Revillusion. It took minutes to install. We are so pleased. We turn it on every day for ambiance. We would recommend this to everyone.

When it was not economically feasible to add gas logs to our existing fireplace, we decided to take a chance and install these electric fireplace logs. It should be noted that we did not add these logs for heating, they were added just for the aesthetic effects. Installation took about five minutes. Easily snapping into the set a rounded, clear plastic background for the led lights to reflect upon was the entire assembly procedure. Our fireplace has black screens on the firebox opening; the clear plastic background is barely visible through the screens. There are different settings for the lighting that allowed us to create what we considered to be the most realistic burning logs effect. Sometimes we play a Youtube video of the sounds of a crackling fireplace when the electric logs are being used. For our purposes, these electric fireplace logs are surprisingly realistic.

What a great option to dirty wood-burning or expensive gas. We really like the look.

I love it!! The logs look real. It puts out just enough heat to take the chill off my small den. I painted the inside of my wood burning fireplace black. Then added black & amber glass rocks around the LED ash bed that’s included. Yes, the panel is a little noticeable but I close the chain curtain and that takes care of that. I love the ambience without the mess. The cord is 6 1/2 feet long so I was able to run it discreetly to the side of my hearth.

They are very realistic looking and have lots of options as well. I love them

This log set replaced an outdated gas log burner. I couldn't be happier! It looks like a real wood fire. Made my fireplace great again!

Nice looking/performing item. Looks more realistic than I expected. Throws decent heat. Just what I was looking for

Aside from the plastic shield that is noticeable in direct sunlight, these logs are perfect in every way. I painted the back of my fireplace black, and that somewhat helped disguise the shield. The cord is on the right side, so I had quite a distance to go to reach a plug that is 12 inches away. I hid the extension cord by using andirons and an old set of gas logs that I had on hand. The flames look 100 percent real when the lights are out. Can't wait to key up a happy Christmas Hallmark movie to pair up with these logs to make this purchase even more wonderful!!
