Dimplex's 39" Deluxe Built-In Electric Firebox will allow you to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a traditional fireplace while benefitting from the safety and convenience of an electric power source. This electric fireplace appliance's glowing resin logs and embers recall the warmth and charm of a wood fire, and the brick-like interior adds to the appearance and feel of a traditional fireplace. Dimplex has perfected a 3D appearance for its flames to create the best look possible for your home or office.
Please Note: This unit requires a hard-wired power source and does not utilize a plug for outlets.
Also Note: Controls are located inside the unit's firebox, at the bottom. If purchasing a solid glass front, a remote or wall switch kit must be purchased to control this unit.

Altering the wiring will void any warranty that the manufacturer provides. However, you can simply shut off the heat function of this unit via the command center of the fireplace. The description of the different functions is listed on page 6 of the owner's manual.

Easy install on a nice fireplace
Easy to follow instructions and a nice visual flame. Voltage selector and mounting was simple.
Remote control (or wall mount) is a must with a solid glass door. Remote was easy to plug in.
Heater fan is on the loud side.

This is a great looking fireplace ideal for the space on the wall you don't know what to do with and it also not only completes your space but literally adds warmth to the space as well!
