The manufacturer lists the maximum burn time of this unit at 8hrs. This may vary on the type of wood being burned, space being heated, and seasoning/storage of the fuel wood.

Is it possible to attach a 6-inch stove pipe to an 8-inch flue and have the stove function properly?
Yes, that should still draft properly. It is okay to go up in size (6" - 8"), however, the chimney should never go down in size from the appliance (8"-6"). Please reference the owners/installation manual for further instructions.

Great Stove for the Money
Picked stove based on features and customer reviews. Was not familiar with the brand but there was plenty of information on the website, along with videos. Received stove through freight shipping. Stove was packaged securely and safely. Stove and fan work great. Took a short time getting used to lighting it but every stove and draft are different. Love that over a year in the glass is clean you can see the fire burning. I recommend this stove and am planning to put one in my new house.
