I have model HT2000. Above the air tubes at the top of the firebox, there are 2 fire bricks with about a 4" gap between the bricks. Should the gap be between the bricks or in the front of the firebox towards the door, or should the gap be in the back?
    1 Answer
That gap should be at the front of the fireplace, closest to the door.
