Does this require a screw or clamp?

This adapter requires a bead of high-temperature silicone to be used to seal the connection to the flue collar. The additional process of pre-drilling the adapter and collar to install a self-tapping screw on each side of the adapter is recommended to secure the adapter to the flue exit collar.
