I am looking to purchase the DuraVent DirectVent Pro 4x6 Horizontal Termination Kit C, but I am unclear what would be on the end of the pipe on the outside. It doesn't look like the termination cap that says 'hot' is included; what would go on the end?
You are correct; the termination cap is not included with this kit. According to the DuraVent catalog page, Horizontal Termination Kit C includes the 90-degree black elbow, wall thimble, ceiling support/wall thimble cover, a 24" black pipe, and an 8 1/2" black pipe extension. The termination cap is selected separately to complete the installation. DuraVent offers 4x6 DirectVent Pro horizontal caps, such as the Horizontal Aluminum High-Wind Vent Rain Cap (46DVA-HC) and the Round Horizontal Rain Cap (46DVA-HRCS). However, the cap must be one approved for your specific appliance, and the round cap requires approval from the appliance manufacturer.
