Is this a snap-lock adapter?

This is an adaptor only intended for use with DuraBlack stovepipe, which is a welded stovepipe.

What is the exact inside diameter of the female end of this adapter? Can this be used for flex pipe?

That adapter is not made for flex pipe, it is made for the stove pipe only. However, the female end measures 6 1/8 inches.
