It is also important to know if the opening is for an existing masonry fireplace, a framed wall, or a mantel cabinet, and if the opening tapers towards the back.
The minimum required firebox opening for this insert is 25 inches front width, 21.5 inches back width, 19 inches height, and 15.5 inches depth. Please note that a stove board is required for installation with this model.
