Customer Q&A with Product Specialists

Alanna A. from NJ asked:
Hi, I'm looking for a 48-54 inch round fire pit or bowl with an insert for burning wood. I prefer a modern style in a whitish GFRC finish. I saw the Artemis, but it's too short. I'd like something 16-20 inches tall. Do you have anything like that? Thanks, Alanna

We do not have a round fire pit or bowl that perfectly matches all your criteria of being 48-54 inches in diameter, 16-20 inches tall, made of whitish GFRC, and suitable for burning wood with an insert. The closest option we have that is designed for wood burning and made of GFRC with a height of 18 inches is the Firegear 42 Inch Lume Smokeless Wood Burning GFRC Fire Bowl. Please note that this unit has a 42-inch diameter, which is smaller than your requested 48-54 inches, and is available in Slate (grey) or Raven (black) finishes, not a distinct whitish color. We do offer GFRC fire bowls in a 48-inch diameter and 16-inch height with a white finish, such as the Grand Canyon 48 Inch GFRC Fire Bowl with Ring Burner or the Grand Canyon 48 Inch GFRC Fire Bowl with Tee Pee Burner. However, these models are designed for natural gas or propane fuel and are not compatible with wood burning or wood-burning inserts. Are you flexible on the diameter, color, or fuel type for your fire pit?

Larry K. from New Albany Ohio asked:
Do you recommend getting both a lid and cloth cover for a fire bowl or just the cloth cover?

Some of the fire pits do not include a lid and/or offer a cover, but, ideally, yes, you would have both a lid and a vinyl cover to protect it as much as possible.
