Can I vent the flue pipe for the Mini Me through a side wall of my house?
Yes, but the chimney must terminate above the roofline. According to the installation manual, it is not recommended to use 90-degree elbows for side-wall venting. If side-wall venting is necessary, plan to use 45-degree elbows (one inside and one outside). This configuration will not impede the draft as much as two 90-degree elbows, which can slow the draw and potentially cause smoke spillage. 45-degree elbows are preferred.
