I have a Martin SA39 fireplace in my 1997 Fleetwood mobile home. We lost the top piece from the roof during Irma; it is 8 inches inside and 12 inches outside, will this part work?

No, you would want a cap like this home saver one.

Installing an FMI 36" fireplace. Which pipe is preferable, 36=8DM or 36=8HT? Will be installed through an outside chase. Want the best/safest option for a woodburning fireplace.

Either line of pipe could potentially work for your situation. The main difference between the two is that the HT pipe has been listed to withstand a chimney fire of up to 2100 degrees, while the DM is rated to 1700 degrees. Most consumers will be fine to use the 1700 degree pipe, unless local code dictates that a higher rating is necessary. I would definitely check with your code office to be certain or you could use the HT pipe from the start.

I HAVE A COLEMAN INSERT IN A FLEETWOOD MOBILE HOME, (2003). THERE IS NO IDENTIFICATION ON THE PIPE THAT I CAN FIND, THE INSIDE PIPE IS 8 INCHES, THE OUTSIDE IS 12 INCHES. YOU P/N FSD-36-EDM LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD FIT. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Unfortunately, each pipe manufacturer is different. While they all offer similar diameters of pipe, they also feature proprietary locking tabs on their ends. We do not recommend mixing brands of pipe, simply because they will not lock together in a safe way. However, I remember hearing that Coleman joined forces with Majestic for a time to make gas inserts. Is there a chance you still have the manual for your insert or perhaps know the model number? We may be able to find the recommended pipe for the insert if we can confirm which insert it is. I apologize for answering your question with a question.

    Great Firm, great product
The product itself if very good, however what stands out is how quickly orders are processed, shipped and ultimately received. This place is quick and efficient, highly recommend.

    Did the job
Overall, this double wall pipe got the job done, although it didn't just snap together as it probably should have. Some of the interior pipe sections didn't lock together and would pull apart, so i had to bend the tabs better to get it to lock. Also it was difficult with some sections to get the outer pipe to slide together, especially when on a ladder or in an uncomfortable position in the attic. Ultimately, i git it all together, and seems it will work great. Just seemed too expensive not to install easier. Also, two pipe sections arrived damaged during shipping. It was very quick and easy to get those replaced.

    Perfect Transaction
As always, shipping, communication, and order always right. I am using the product for a WBFP and needed to extend chimney to increase draft in a cabin environment. Worked perfectly.
