IHP/Superior Wood Fireplace 8 Inch Round Cap with Mesh. Only IHP/Superior Chimney Wood Fireplace Chimney Liners and Chimney Liner Accessories are approved for use with IHP/Superior Wood Fireplaces. They are UL approved and are not for use with any product other than IHP/Superior Wood Burning Fireplaces.
Please Note: This venting component is intended for use only with certain Superior/IPH wood-burning appliances.
Also Note: This chimney cap features 3/4" mesh that does not meet California requirements.

On the Superior 8DM Class A Chimney Cap with Mesh Screen, is the top plate removable for cleaning?
The Superior 8DM Class A Chimney Cap with Mesh Screen is friction-mounted, meaning the entire cap can be lifted straight off the top of the 8DM chimney pipe for cleaning and sweeping. The whole cap comes off in one piece, allowing you to clean the pipe, and then it seats back down. The top plate itself is not designed to separate from the cap. For reference, the cap measures 16 inches in diameter with an 8-inch pipe diameter and stands 13 1/2 inches tall, approximately 10 inches high once installed. It is constructed of galvanized steel and features a 3/4-inch mesh screen, designed exclusively for Superior 8DM 8-inch inner diameter chimney pipe.

Unfortunately, this is not compatible with the TFT8 series of pipes.

No, the 8DM cap can only fit on the 8DM chimney pipe, which has an 8-inch inside diameter and a 12-3/8-inch outside diameter.

No, this cap is not suitable for use with a 16" outside diameter pipe.
