What is the voltage and the current compacity for this item?

    1 Answer
This transformer steps 120 volts AC down to a 3 volt AC output, as required by some Dexen series of control modules.

We have battery operated fireplaces. I just found out about the dexen transformer adapter I would like to know more info about this and if its compatible with our fireplaces? Thank you!

Hi Hugo, The Dexen adapter that you've asked about is intended as a replacement part for Dexen electronic ignition valves. To work with your units, they would need to already be electronic ignition, non-standing light set-ups. It will not work on stand millivolt valves. If your goal is to save time and money by no longer having to replace batteries in your standard millivolt remote set-ups, I might recommend our Empire FREC. This remote still requires batteries in the handheld transmitter. But, the receiver no longer takes those 4 AA batteries and simply plugs into the wall.

    Fire Place Like New Again
My old fire place would not ignite. I ordered and replaced the power pack on the system and the ignitor immediately started. It was easy to place the order on the website, too. Equipment came as described and on schedule.
