My 13 year old remote wasn't working anymore and upon research found it wasn't made anymore. A google search led me to efireplace and the site is well laid out when I searched for the product with great descriptions and picultures of everything being sold. On top of that, pricing was better than other places that weren't as easy to find what I was looking for!

I have used two brands of remote control thermostats with my gas log set and Acumen works great at a much better price point.

I have a Quadra Fire Pellet Stove that this is connected to and it works AWSOME! I had a similar Acumen years ago that took a beating and kept on ticking; unlike the version I'm finding today. Once I found this website I sent a question to efireplacestore. It clearly states use with gas, however I recall the installer years ago saying even though its for gas you can use this one on your pellet stove. Efireplacestore emailed me back with some additional questions and even called Quadra Fire to ensure I could use this on my pellet stove. Totally blown away how they went above and beyond A+ on customer service!

This unit fit the bill, my remote control unit melted from bing left on top of fireplace box and my local company would not even return my calls for repair.Saw this unit online and seemed to fit the bill.Unit arrived in a couple of days and I installed it in about 10 minutes. Works great Probably saved a good buck doing it myself.

bought this on their recommendation to replace the remote on my regency freestanding fireplace. After install the remote does not work. The manual switch on the receiver works but not the remote.

Fast shipping and product as described. Not as simple to install as detailed in instructions, but that's not a complaint on this seller. Once I got the wiring correct for my log set thermopile, it has worked GREAT! I gave it to my wife for Christmas and she loved it! I would recommend to a friend.
