This remote control kit has a manual on/off feature as well as a thermostat so that you control your fireplace for your best comfort. The unit features a backlit LCD screen with a temperature readout that displays in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Other features include a childproof design, a low battery indicator, a clock, and a countdown timer as well as a built-in overheating protection switch. The item comes with pre-installed 400° high temperature wires.

I don't have to keep getting out of my armchair to turn off my fireplace because the room is getting too warm. Just press the button on the remote. And when I need it on again, just press the button again!
