1. Remove the door by unlatching the 2 top latches. Simply place 2 fingers in the grooves, and pull and lift upward slightly.
2. Once the top of the door is unlatched, pull it outward and lower it to unlatch the bottom.
3. To re-install, place the Bottom Door Ledge into the 2 Lower Latch assemblies first. Then swing the door closed to seal it against
the firebox cavity. Re-latch the Upper Latch assembly to secure the door to the appliance.
Direct vent fireplaces are an excellent choice for tight construction because the combustion airflow is completely sealed off from the interior air space. (They use a heat exchanger to create airflow of hot air inside the house air space.)
