This fireplace is a direct venting fireplace with a tempered glass front, able to utilize either a detailed 8-piece log set or contemporary glass media. This MCVP42E Fireplace comes equipped with the fuel-efficient IPI ignition system which operates the pilot only when needed, and this fireplace pairs with a full line of wall switches or remote controls. This low profile fireplace frame allows a cleaner looking installation, and Kingsman includes safety barrier screens to prevent accidental contact with hot surfaces. BTU Input Ratings: 30,250 Natural Gas / 28,500 Liquid Propane; Efficiency Rating: 54.6% Natural Gas / 55.9% Liquid Propane. Front openings dimensions: 33 11/16" Wide, 20 5/8" High. End opening dimensions: 16" Wide, 20 5/8" High.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 5" inner diameter.

This unit is California-compliant, as it it direct vent and an electronic ignition pilot system. It is also advisable to submit the unit for approval to your local building code inspector or office.
