On a Kingsman HBZDV3624, what are the dimension of the firebox?

The HBZDV3624 models have a viewing area of 29-3/4” wide and 18-5/8” high.

My fireplace (model #HBZDV3624, 3628, or 3632) has a glass front with an attached screen front. Can it be used without the glass front and just with the screen?
1 Answer
No, the glass front is required on all direct vent gas fireplaces. The sealed glass front is what makes a direct vent fireplace direct vent. It would not operate properly without that glass.

My Kingsman gas fireplace has a milky film on the glass that won't go away, even when wiped down with a wet rag. What can I do?

If this is a recent development, the fireplace will require cleaning to remove any debris that might be mixing with the fuel. If this has always been an issue, you either are burning propane gas in a fireplace configured for natural gas, or these are simply mineral deposits from your fuel.
