    I have a see-through wood fireplace that has a height of 27 inches and a width of 36.5 inches.  It is 30 inches deep. Does Kingsman or another company make a direct vent insert that will fit this opening?

    If you are referring to the different variations of the Kingsman MCVST42 see-through direct vent fireplace, the lowest-priced variation will not be rated as a heater and may not be used with a thermostat while the higher-tier version is heater-rated and will arrive with ceramic glass as opposed to the tempered glass included with the non-heater rated version. For both the heater-rated and non-heater-rated versions, there is also a difference in price depending on whether you prefer the more basic standing pilot/millivolt version or the non-standing pilot electronic ignition w/ battery backup configuration. Lastly, the heater-rated version is also a higher-Btu system which will provide more efficient heating.
