A stainless steel surround is available if preferred, but this is an optional accessory. Kingsman has not provided a photo of the surround, but it does include a wall switch.

The model you inquired about is a millivolt, so it has a standing pilot system. There is a version that has an electronic ignition with remote control. You can see that model here.
