Is this available with an 8-inch depth?
This hood is 4.5" deep. They do not make a hood that is 8" deep, as that would trap too much heat at the fireplace. We recommend installing a mantel shield on the underside of the mantel to help deflect the heat away from the mantel. This mantel shield can be trimmed on the backside to fit your mantel.
