You will get up to 30,000 BTUs of heat with 70 percent efficiency. That efficiency rating is better than many wood-burning fireplaces. This Jasper 30 inch fireplace has everything you want, ambiance, style, and of course, warmth.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 3" inner diameter.

No, this insert requires a fireplace opening of at least 31 5/8" wide.

No, because this is a direct vent gas fireplace insert, which must be installed inside an existing fireplace and vented vertically up through the existing chimney.
