Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 4" inner diameter.

Is this unit just for show, or does it give heat? Does it have a fan?
This unit will produce heat and add the ambiance of a gas fire. This fireplace is around 50% efficient, so it is not designed as a main heat source. This unit can have an optional blower added to it, but the blower is not equipped as an out-of-the-box feature.
