Why does this say 30" when the dimensions given in the details is over 31" needed for width?

The manufacturer labels this insert as a "30 Inch". Obviously, this is a nominal measurement and not exact. We apologize for the confusion, but this is simply how Majestic refers to this model.

Very happy so far
Placed an order for the Ruby 30" direct vent fireplace to retrofit our wood burning fireplace. Liked the warranty and included remote and blower versus other options. Fireplace works well and kicks plenty of heat.
