Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 3" inner diameter.

Can this be vented directly out the wall when installed on an outside wall?
Unfortunately, no. This gas insert is specifically designed to be installed into an existing fireplace with the co-linear venting system installed into the existing chimney.
