    Would we be able to put a TV above this fireplace?
    1 Answer
    It is important to note most televisions will not honor the manufacturer's warranty if installed above a vent-free gas fireplace.  That said, this is commonly done and, we would recommend installing a heat deflector above the fireplace and/or a mantel shelf (installed to the minimum mantel clearance requirements above the fireplace) above which the television would be placed.
