    Is this fireplace UL certified?

    Technically, no, the UL does not list this fireplace, but that is only because UL was not used for testing. Monessen has tested this unit with the CSA, which has confirmed that the unit complies with the latest edition of ANSI Z21.11.2–2013, Unvented Heaters.
